As you can see by the X-Ray above, the tooth is in BAD shape.  My husband Justin had lost a filling several months ago, yet didn’t see a Dentist.  He’s been suffering from jaw and tooth pain and I finally “forced’ him to get to the DDS to have it extracted.

Many people simply don’t visit a dentist because they fear the high costs.  To have Justin’s tooth pulled there was the cost of office visit, X-Rays, Extraction and OSHA fees and this all came out to a cash price of a whopping $503.00.  OUCH right?  Just to have a tooth pulled out.

If you have to have some dental work done, its good for you to ask for the procedure codes and then check those codes against the fee schedules listed above.  In doing this you will ensure you receive the greatest savings possible.  If the Dentist gives a different fee than is showed on our Fee Schedule you want to immediately contact Ameriplan provider relations and they will contact the Dentist on your behalf to ensure you get the best savings possible.
